ABOUT VIOLET

My name is Violet Welles, and I'm a programmer-turned-writer. Last year, I quit my well-paying job in order to crawl down this well and really start writing.

Along with tutoring high schoolers in math, I'm currently working on my very first novel, a f/f romance-mystery. Ann Hazel, a young woman disillusioned with her life, decides to quit her job to travel with her best friend, Sid, whose recently-deceased father has left them a series of cryptic clues to follow around the world.

I live in Cary, NC with my sweet, murderous kitty, Luna, and my enormous, lazy greyhound, Hugo.
